The OG North Indian food. Your best bet would be take out as the restaurant dine in situation is little tight but you could try I mean (tables are very limited). Try their typical paneer curries with roomali roti. As buttery as it can be. Of course naan and other breads are good but we wanted to try the smoothest Roomali Roti.

I remember going to their location in New York a while back. It was a good meal. The place is long shaped not too big. But tables are well spaced so do not feel congested. The service is very professional. All the staff did a great job. They have a vast menu. All their food looks good. I had their lunch special - entree, vegetable, dal, rice and bread. The portions were great. A good sized meal. The food was tasty. Not oily just plain good. I am fan.

We love ordering takeout from this restaurant whether it's for a family dinner or get together. They have reasonable prices for the most part. I love their chicken lollipops dish; it's slightly sweet and spicy. The Gobi Manchurian is good too. We ordered a new item this time - makki ki roti and sarson ka saag. They need to let their customers know how many roti or naan come in an order. I had to call the restaurant for clarification before placing the order online. The makki ki roti size was good but they were unevenly toasted. One was underdone and one had burnt areas. The sarson ka saag was good. We haven't dined at the restaurant as of yet because they don't have many tables. Most of time we do takeout and it works for us. They have a 10% couple that you can apply to your online order. Look for the code on their website before placing your order. It only works for takeout.

Totally yummy! Definitely an authentic option with tasty food. I can't comment on the ambiance since I got takeout but I would certainly order again because everything was very flavorful and reasonably priced.

Parsippany is fortunate to have so many great Indian Restuarnts and Dhaba Express is just one of the many places I have found that has really great food. This review is based on two recent visits to Dhaba Express, which is located on Route 46 East between Vail and Baldwin Road. Visit #1 - After viewing the menu, deciding was not easy with so many great picks to choose from. The menu online https://onefork.nyc/menu/dhaba-express was easy to navigate and offered vegan, vegertain, and non vegertain options. While not a vegan or vegetarian, always happy to see places that offers these options. We started with the Onion Kulcha and the Dhaba Special Somosas for an appatizer. For the main dishes, we ordered the Aloo Gobhi Ghar Ki (Potatoes and Cauliflower, Fenugreek) This was ordered from the vegan menu and was very tasty for the one who requested it. I ordered the Murgh Tikka (Skewered Chicken Thighs, Red Marinade) which was really tasty. As we also ordered the Egg Hakka noodles off their Indo Chinesse menu which also offers a lot of variety. All in all, it was a great meal from another fine restaurant based in Parsippany. Ordering was easy and it was ready when promised. I have seen other comment about Dhaba Expeess and am thankful to find yet another place to grab so good India food. Whenever I post about Indian food, I always throw out that while Indian food could be spicey, when it is made to order, the chefs can cook the food to your liking. I ordered the Chicken Tikka spicy and the Aloo Gobhi Ghar K mild, and both orders were cooked to the individual who does the Ordering so one does not have to fear super spicey foods unless you want it that way. Visit #2 - It was a cold ad snowy day in mid March. Was craving some soup and ordered the hot and sour soup with chicken. Hot and sour soup with the added chicken was the perfect side on a cold and dreary day. Also order the Achaari Murgh Tikka - (Pickle marinade skewered chicken) Not gonna lie and say I ordered this which is not my norm. I must say it was super tasty and may be another favorite. I did order it spicy, but as stated you can tone down the spice and turn it up as well. I have always ordered it Spicy and have enjoyed the spice level. Contemplating on ordering extra spicy to see if I can take the heat. Dhaba Express has always been a win whenver I ordered. While I prefer takeout, they do have indoor dining as well. Definitely worth paying them a visit.

I went to Dhaba Express with my husband. We had our doubts as the place looked tiny. But our doubts were cleared as we ate our lunch. For an appetizer, we ordered malai chap and it was delicious - heavy and creamy. For the main course, we order double dal tadka and tandoori roti and the dal tadka brought so many memories from India. It felt so comforting. We also ordered a vegetable and paneer biryani for which we did not have any appetite but packed and ate the next day for lunch and it was great too. The quantity was a lot. We got moong dal halwa packed and it was a bit too sweet for us.

Our friends referred us to this place ... and glad we tried this a few times... The food is absolutely amazing from here ...we tried quite a few dishes and enjoyed all of the them. Appetizers like lollipop chicken , veg spring rolls and main courses like chicken tikka masala , kheema pav, puri chole , paneer dishes all tasted great.. Special mention - A dish we havent seen in a few places and we wanted to try it...its the murgh korma zafrani--its made with super soft chicken , saffron and pista and the curry tasted amazing with naan.. Def a few more things to try here and i am sure we would like most of the,..

Consistent, delicious and authentic. Our go to for the Indian food cravings. Everything we've tried here has been good. The food comes hot whether you eat there or get it delivered. They've even taken the steps to provide reusable bags so the bags don't fall apart when they arrive. They also provide plastic utensils and plates for take-out and delivery. The place is fairly small but decorated and maintained well. The food can be very spicy if you order Indian-hot. Typically medium is the best to bring out the flavors of the dish. For those with sensitive palates, select mild.
